IL GIORNALE DELL’ARTE | ALEX PINNA PARLA IN ETRUSCO | 2023
Alex Pinna at Museum of Archaeology of the University of Pavia
From 7 October, the Day of the Contemporary, until 18 November, the Museum of Archaeology of the University of Pavia comes alive with a people of subtle and enigmatic figures, devoid as they are of face and of any attribute that can place them in a time of history, which enter into dialogue with the finds of this ancient institution, founded in 1819 and housed in the Cruise of the fifteenth-century San Matteo Hospital, rich in a heritage that
covers a vast span of time and space.
The author of those figures is Alex Pinna, artist and teacher at Brera; “Time” is the title of the exhibition, curated by Vittorio Schieroni, Anna L. Magrassi Matricardi, curator of the Museum, and Paolo Campiglio, professor at the University, within the project or “Incontri d’arte”, launched by the museum in 2018 to make the heritage of history, culture and art that it preserves available to contemporary creativity.
